With that, let us proceed to the Summative Test to see how well you understand the topic. Below are the instructions for two types of test. First is the True/ False and the second type of test is Identification. Be honest in answering the test to see for yourself if you really understand the lesson or not. Instructions: Write True if the statement is correct and False if it is not correct, on the blank before each number.

  1. Pen

  2. Paper (for taking notes)

 

PROCEDURE:

  1. Research about superstitions related to comets and asteroids in the library, internet, or by interviewing your parents or elderly neighbors.

  2. Choose at least three superstitions (one from the Philippines and the rest from other countries).

  3. Answer these questions: Do superstitions about comets and asteroids have scientific basis? Why or why not?

  4. List down as many scientific evidences to support your answers to the questions. You can go to the library to research for evidences or you can use other resources such as online resource but please be mindful of your sources, make sure to get information only from reliable ones .

  5. Propose doable actions to promote a more scientific attitude towards comets, asteroids, and meteors to your fellow students or to your family members.
